Developers
Read your own cars and records, and add new log entries, from your own tools or from an AI assistant. Invite only while we try it out.
Getting a key
Write to karsten@wesentlich.no and ask to join the API test group. Once you are in, go to Profile and open “API access”. Create a key, give it a name and copy it — it is shown once.
A key only ever reaches your own cars. You can revoke it at any time from the same place.
Authentication
Send the key on every request:
Authorization: Bearer elog_...
Base address: https://dluicfkvpvvpkywrxzkj.supabase.co/functions/v1/api-v1/v1
Endpoints
GET /v1/me
Your account id, preferred distance unit and currency.
GET /v1/cars
Every car in your account, with year, model, mileage and counts.
GET /v1/cars/{car_id}
One car in full, including technical specifications.
GET /v1/cars/{car_id}/records
Log entries, newest first. Supports ?limit= (max 200) and ?offset=.
GET /v1/cars/{car_id}/photos
Photos attached to the car.
POST /v1/cars/{car_id}/records
Add a log entry. Required: title, date (YYYY-MM-DD). Optional: description, summary, mileage (your own unit) or mileage_km, cost (your currency), performed_by, category, type.
curl -X POST "https://dluicfkvpvvpkywrxzkj.supabase.co/functions/v1/api-v1/v1/cars/CAR_ID/records" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer elog_..." \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"title": "Oil and filter change",
"date": "2026-03-04",
"mileage_km": 84120,
"cost": 412.5,
"performed_by": "Autohaus Meyer",
"description": "Mobil 1 0W-40, new filter and drain plug seal."
}'AI assistants (MCP)
The same operations are available as a ready-made connector, so Claude, Gemini or any other assistant that speaks MCP can work with your records without you writing code. Add a remote MCP server with this address and your key as the authorization header:
https://dluicfkvpvvpkywrxzkj.supabase.co/functions/v1/mcp Authorization: Bearer elog_...
Tools available: list_cars, get_car, list_records, list_photos, add_record. With it connected you can say “add the oil change from this receipt to my 997.2” and it will land in your log.
Good to know
Distances are stored and returned as kilometres in mileage_km. Send plain mileage to use your own unit (km or miles) and cost in your own currency — both are returned by /v1/me.
Entries added this way are marked as coming from the API. Editing and deleting are not part of this first version.
Up to 60 requests per minute per key. Over that you get a 429 with a Retry-After header.
Every call is recorded so you and we can see what a key has been up to.
