2000 986 Boxster 2.7

I found this car on Facebook Marketplace with a large amount of work done by the previous owner. I have heavily modified it since then, and continue to work on it. I do all my own work, except mounting tires. My second year of ownership was a bit rocky, I ended up taking out the engine to do the Variocam pads due to excessive cam timing deviation. While I was in there I did chains, tensioners, and a bunch of other maintenance work. The next year I went to the Carlisle swap meet and bought a bunch of 996 parts (complete intake manifold, headers), and then acquired a 987 airbox and 997 throttle body, so work continued on adding those parts. I also added a center radiator, Koni shocks, Eibach sway bars, electric power steering, and a whole lot more. 2 years later it was back on the road (long story). This year I built a custom valved exhaust with a good friend, and then a day later had to remove and rebuild the Variocam actuator due to debris in the valve and piston. I also had some Cayman wheels custom powder coated and machined, and here it sits. It is very well sorted, and handles superbly on the track as well as the street, and I'm just loving the experience.
