2001 986 Boxster 2.7

Purchased in 2024 from a PCA member on Long Island, New York. I found the car on the PCA Marketplace—The Mart. The owner, Ken, was a Navy veteran and a genuinely cool guy who had recently upgraded to a 997-generation 911. We spoke for more than an hour, and my buddy and I made plans to see the car that weekend. When Saturday finally arrived, we rented a U-Haul auto transport and left before sunrise. The test drive is something I will always remember fondly: blasting down the highway early that morning, way out on Long Island, with the sun shining and the top down—while Ken repeatedly yelled, “Go faster!” It was the perfect introduction to my first Porsche.
