2001 986 Boxster S

Like many before me, my first step into the Porsche brand is a 986 Boxster! Sabine (my tribute to the late great Queen of the Nürburgring Sabine Schmitz) is a 2001 Porsche Boxster S in Black with a Savanna beige interior. I have loved the look of these for a long time, and I spent quite some time looking for a well-kept example. Coming from a highly modified turbo Miata, I knew I wanted another roadster, but it was time to take a step up. This checked all the boxes. For sure, it's still a 25 year old car so it has its fair share of things I'm working to improve and recondition. Despite it's age, I'm actually amazed at how well it has held up to the test of time, both in mechanical longevity and in styling.
