2006 987.1C Cayman S

I stumbled into this vehicle while searching for my then "dream" car, a BMW 1M. Loving light, small, nimble cars, I thought I would give the first generation Cayman S a try. The new experience for me would be not only the brand, but mid-engine. I found this one in Rochester, NY and am the second owner. It was low-mileage (about 26k mi at the time) and well maintained, the latter of which was critical for me. Flew out to pick it up and drove it back and have not looked back since. I have done some things here and there to personalize the car, like my seats, but the event that married me to the car is when I connected with Jake Raby at Flat Six Innovations and decided to upgrade my engine to his Road and Track Street Performer package. While there was nothing wrong with my car's engine, I wanted the peace of mind of knowing the engine would be more stout (to 3.8L), IMS solved and new clutch to boot. The car puts a smile on me every time I see it, and the driving experience never gets old.
