2008 997.1 Carrera S

Bought in Dec 2024 . This is a non running project purchased from copart after Hurricane Ian. Water was mid door but none appeared in the intake and the bore scope showed clean cylinder walls . The exhaust side is another story water entered exhaust up into the headers. I plan to pull the engine and disassemble . the interior was gutted but not before a battery was connected and it appears the ECU is working . The window actuators dropped the wheels unlocked and the dash lit up thats a big win. We did not attempt to start the car. All fluids were changed and there was no evidence of water in the engine oil nor the transmission. This is a huge project that I have not condemned to parts yet . The problem is I’m a DIY and I have so many other viable projects that are taking time away from this . Updates for sure
