Record types and statuses
Every entry has a type — Service, Modification or Parts — and a status: Logged, Planned or Suggested.
Types
- Service: maintenance and repairs, including oil and fluids.
- Modification: anything that changes the car from how it left the factory.
- Parts: parts bought, fitted or sold.
Statuses
- Logged: it happened, and this is the record of it.
- Planned: you intend to do it. Useful for the next service or a winter job.
- Suggested: Elferlog proposed it, based on the model's intervals and your mileage. Accept it to make it planned, or dismiss it.
A planned entry becomes logged when you mark it done and fill in the date, mileage and cost.
